I’m Kathy, the girl behind Pineapples and Peonies, and I’m delighted you’re here. When I’m not chasing after my three little girls, or assisting clients buy and sell homes in Richmond, Virginia, you can find me pouring my creative energy into this Blog. Here you’ll discover everything from inspired home design, to gift guides, Virginia living, fashion finds, and family life.

Prior to my life as a Mama and REALTOR®, I attended East Carolina University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After college, I commissioned in the United States Navy and served as an Officer in the Navy Nurse Corps. It was an absolute honor to serve my country, which is also where I met my husband, who shares my passion for service, and still serves as a Naval Reservist today. Together, we’re the proud parents of three little ladies, our greatest joy and driving force.
